Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Typical duties of the marketing communications intern include:

• Assist with writing communications including email campaigns, web content, case studies, blogs and more
• Support the coordination of events including contractor week, company BBQ, etc.
• Assist with the design of print marketing materials such as advertisements, billboards, product brochures, etc.
• Assist with the tracking and documentation of marketing metrics and leads
• Assist with administration of the EDCO marketing portal including the fulfillment of sample/literature requests & the Contractor Advantage Program
• Assist with the development of the company’s social media strategy & execution
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS/BA degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design or relevant field.
• Applied understanding of basic marketing principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Proficient use of basic office programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Preference to candidates with basic graphic design skills with working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Basic photography, image, and video editing skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without Visa sponsorship.
