      RIDGID is looking for a marketing intern to join our team to and support our engagement and brand initiatives. The intern will work closely with the Engagement Marketing Manager to develop and execute campaigns, analyze data, and contribute to the development of specific marketing project strategies.

      AS A MARKETING INTERN, YOU WILL:

      • Conduct and analyze internal brand and audit to identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement
      • Assist in the planning and execution of the annual RIDGID and Greenlee Experience in June
      • Assist in strategy and event planning for the PHCC Connect national conference in October
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the creation of sustainability messaging framework, internal messaging, and content calendar.
      • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the industry as it relates to social media and influencer marketing
      • Map out customer journeys or interactions with the RIDGID and Greenlee brands
      • Assist with cross-departmental projects including strategy and execution of internal communications
      • Assist with other projects as assigned

      REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

      • In process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field from an accredited college or university
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office
      • Familiarity with social media platforms
      • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and collaboration skills
      • Passion for marketing and a willingness to learn
      • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role

      PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

      • In process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in marketing
      • 2.75 cumulative GPA
      • Previous co-op/intern experience

      Flexible Work Schedule
      This role has the flexibility of a core hour schedule. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00am - 3:00pm.       Location Overview:

      We’re not limited by geographic location. As part of the Professional Tools team, you’ll have the opportunity to work in either Rockford, Illinois or Elyria, Ohio, depending on the position. Both locations offer the charm of a small town with the conveniences of a city. Located in Northeast Ohio about 30 miles from Cleveland, Elyria offers a diverse range of outdoor recreational activities, including boating, fishing, hiking and access to world-class Metroparks and the Lake Erie Shores & Islands.
