      Location - Hybrid working with a base location options of Edinburgh, Manchester, London or Coventry

      In a nutshell

      You will support the full marketing function including but not limited to; front and back-book, Brand, Marketing Services, retail marketing, digital marketing, and Planning teams within either the Go to Market team or CRM team. This will be through either a fixed-term placement within a team, working in a virtual team around a specific ask/project or working on campaigns (predominately in the acquisition and customer growth areas).

      Occasionally, you may also support projects that sit external to the Marketing Dept. Supporting the project on marketing aspects and related requirements.

      You will support the placement lead, the virtual team lead or the campaign lead with related marketing tasks as set down by them.

      What you will be doing

      • Liaise and network with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations.
      • Contribute to, and develop, marketing plans (media/comms/creative)
      • Support the Senior Marketing Manager and other colleagues (project, virtual and placement leads)
      • Communicate with target audiences and manage customer relationships, as and when required.
      • Manage budgets and project plans as and when required.
      • Evaluate marketing campaigns and act on data-led insights accordingly.
      • Build effective working relationships to understand SB’s product portfolio and key benefit features and core product and customer strategies.
      • Monitor our direct competitors and highlight key market trends & patterns.
      • Support the Senior Marketing Manager in considering how to change customer behaviours and how this impacts customer needs and subsequent journeys (across paid, owned and earned)
      • Consider how marketing tech. can enable us to deliver more efficient and effective campaigns.
      • Coordinate relevant governance to ensure the appropriate risk appetite is considered for campaign or project requirements by managing audit trails, signoffs, and approvals.
      • Undertake periodic process reviews ensuring that we maximise efficiencies.

      What you need to know and show

      • Proven expertise in developing customer-focused communications and propositions.
      • Strong influencing and networking skills
      • Proven campaign management skills for tactical marketing activity specifically through in-store, direct marketing including email, and digital marketing as well as some above-the-line experience.
      • Positive can-do attitude with a commercial focus
      • Analytical ability to understand customer targets and channel choice, evaluating all options to pursue the most cost‐effective and profitable return on investment, plus a thorough understanding of post‐review learning.
