      Position Summary :

      To support all the marketing initiatives of an ever-changing portfolio of hotels, restaurants, and property outlets. This position will provide a fast-paced learning environment with direct oversight and influence of marketing actions. A broad overview of digital and traditional marketing will be gained with particular focus on application in the hospitality and food & beverage industries.

      The Manager of Marketing, Social & Digital -Curated and Branded Hotels reports to: Corporate Director of Marketing and Brand Activation

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

      35 % Support traditional and digital marketing initiatives:

      • Copywriting and design for marketing materials, as necessary.
      • Ensure visual and written brand integrity of content for property and restaurants.
      • Facilitate the creation of signage, mockups, email campaigns, and online promotions
      • Coordinate with 3rd party designers, marketers, and web developers to support properties.
      • Monitor, maintain and publish up-to-date content on listings including Google, TripAdvisor, Yelp,

      OpenTable, vanity and brand sites, and others*. (*Expedia, Booking.com support only as needed)

      • Maintain access to all necessary online listings.
      • Stay abreast of new tools and trends and make recommendations for new initiatives.
      • Coordinate, promote and assist in the management of restaurant and property outlets activations and events.
      • Merchandise and promote available packages online through Brand.com, Vanity, social media, and other relevant listings such as Cvent or Wedding Wire.

      35 % Manage social media and online reputation programs:

      • Manage social media presence for the hotel and dining, spa and cafe outlets.
      • Work with property teams to develop and implement social media content plans.
      • Monitor messages and activity on social channels and coordinate with sales and operations teams to respond as needed.
      • Take photography, collect, or design and post branded visuals (images, graphics, etc.) to social accounts.
      • Post and monitor paid social advertisements as needed.
      • Coordinate with HR and hotel recruitment teams to assist in amplifying open positions.

      30 % Support of administrative marketing tasks:

      • Maintain and provide access to all relevant digital channels.
      • Attend monthly Marketing Revenue Maximization calls for hotels as needed.
      • Assist with digital asset management (photography, 3D tours and video) for hotels and outlets.
      • Assist with logo materials and printing needs reorders and revisions
      • Develop in house collateral and materials for promotion (Banquet Menus, Holiday Menus, promotions, etc.)

      SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:

      In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the requirements of the company.

      • Collaborate with all departments of the Hotel in concern of a total revenue approach.
      • Answer other hotel team member's questions regarding marketing in a friendly and courteous manner.
      • Contribute to the development and update of the individual property marketing plan.
      • Communicate with Sales Team regarding business needs and cross-selling opportunities.

      • Experience with design tool applications (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite)
      • Experience analyzing marketing data and generating analysis reports.
      • Advanced knowledge of social media.
      • Ability to collaborate.
      • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and nights

      QUALIFICATION STANDARDS EDUCATION:

      High School Diploma or Equivalent

      Preferred degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field

      EXPERIENCE

      • 2+ years of experience working in marketing or advertising.
      • Prior experience with hotel and restaurant industry a plus
