      We are now strengthening our Africa Enterprise Marketing team – and we would like you to join us.

      Work with 360-degree marketing campaigns

      You should be preferably based in South Africa (Johannesburg or Cape Town) with a solid background in B2B marketing and work closely together with your core team of 3 sales colleagues spread across South Africa and Nigeria, supporting marketing activities in Southern Africa and Indian Ocean with direct reporting line to Enterprise Marketing Manager, Africa. Here, you will support channel acquisition and enablement with the goal of strengthening brand awareness, educating our partners, generating leads and thereby increasing our sales activities.

      In the process, you will also work closely with our extended Marketing team to reach your targets, including EAST regional Marketing team, EAST Video Marketing Manager as well as HQ marketers.

      Primarily, you will:

      • Be responsible for creating and deploying regional marketing strategy in line with business priorities, focused on achieving sales goals set for the region and strengthening Jabra position in the market
      • Work closely with distribution in country to develop strong reseller acquisition and channel enablement plans
      • Work hand in hand with local sales to develop and coordinate specific sell-out plans together for priority partners
      • Own the marketing relationship for key target partners (including DMRs, SIs, Telcos, IT resellers, online resellers and retailers) and develop ‘through partner’ marketing plans to ensure significant demand generation activities as well as extensive online experience
      • Execute on key Strategic Alliance initiatives for the region
      • Drive and implement marketing campaigns related to e.g. new product launches
      • Organize partners and end customer events such as conferences, seminars and product training sessions
      • Proofread channel marketing material, own localization process for the region
      • Update our CRM system with marketing generated leads and maintain marketing lists
      • Administrate your marketing budget for the region
      • Report on channel and EC marketing activities and performance against agreed metrics

      Occasionally, you and your team will attend meetings with our partners as well as internal gatherings, which will take you travelling primarily within the East Southern Africa & Indian Ocean region – max 30% of your time on the quarterly basis.

      Energetic and marketing savvy

      This position will expose you to interesting challenges and demand the ability to prioritize and make decisions individually with consideration for long-term effects. It is vital that you are a self-starter, able to hit the ground running in a busy environment still with great attention to detail.

      You also:

      • Hold a Bachelor’s degree as a minimum within marketing or the like
      • Have great communications skills, both written and spoken
      • Typically, have at least 6 years’ experience with regional marketing and channel marketing
      • Speak and write English effortlessly, French would be a great addition but not mandatory
      • Have proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to budget
      • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including email marketing software, social media management tools and web analytics platforms would be a great advantage
