      Job Description

      Manage Westgate Greeters and Marketing Coordinators to generate tour prospects for designated sales center(s). Performance manage, constant training and coaching to increase performance. Ensure locations meet company standards of appearance and collateral materials.

      Identify, setting up, implement, and analyze designated marketing programs, locations and public relations efforts that are required to generate qualified tours and meet budgeted goals for Westgate Resorts.

      WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

      Reports To: Assistant Director of Marketing

      Supervises: Location Supervisors/, 10 - 50+ Marketing Associates

      Interfaces: Westgate Resorts Management, Market Partners/Lessors/Vendors, Sales Management, Guest Services, Accounting and Administrative Staff.

      ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

      • Responsible to meet or exceed budgeted goals for number of tours and volume generated through existing & future marketing programs in comparison to budget.
      • Work in conjunction with the Asst Director of Marketing & other Marketing and Sales Leadership to develop tour generation programs determined by forecasts, occupancies, and special events within project management and cost efficiency targets.
      • Work in conjunction with the Asst Director of Marketing & other Marketing and Sales Leadership to identify, develop and implement all local marketing efforts and programming as well as event marketing efforts and programming to meet or exceed budgeted production goals.
      • Work in conjunction with the Asst Director of Marketing & other Marketing and Sales Leadership to develop collateral material as required and work within marketing plans, strategy guideline and budgets.
      • Prepare fully burdened Marketing briefs, follow up actual and analyses.
      • Provide period budget and analysis of all current program responsibilities.
      • Work in conjunction with the Asst Director of Marketing & other Marketing and Sales Leadership to explore and solidify new business, marketing and public relations opportunities while conforming to requirements and Westgate Resorts standards.
      • Responsible for conducting proper hiring/performance evaluation/terminating procedure, employee benefits, and payroll submissions for Marketing Associates.
      • Coordinate on-going training for all existing marketing executives in conjunction with the Asst Director of Marketing & other Marketing and Sales Leadership.
      • Nurture and establish rapport with all those in the marketplace that are, or could be, keys to the success for all or part of the marketing plan.
      • Work directly with the Asst Director of Marketing, and other Marketing Managers on monitoring production goals on an on-going basis.
      • Other special projects as assigned.

      MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

      • Communicate Program details to the Asst Director of Marketing, Sales Management and Sales/Marketing support staff.
      • Ensure proper payment accountability and coding for accounting purposes.
      • Keep current on local, regional, and national events that affect any marketing programs.
      • A flexible work schedule is required to accommodate a seven-day a week retail and hospitality operation that generally necessitates a flexible work schedule.
