      Responsibilities

      You will be responsible for:

      • Responsible for a portfolio of hero brands in multiple categories that are of strategic importance in the overall PepsiCo beverages agenda- encompassing marketing and commercial responsibility. Lead a team of Brand Managers, in so doing be responsible for Learning & Development of the team, Engagement, Role modelling the values whilst always driving collaboration across multiple internal stakeholders including EXCO and External stakeholders.
      • Category portfolio Strategy : Develop and evolve category portfolio strategy, brand roles/positioning in line it the PepsiCo strategic intent of the Juice category ; Business case development to effect portfolio growth /identify new opportunities; Growth ambition assumptions & business case building.
      • Commercial (Net Revenue etc.) & Commercial Plans: Track and contribute to delivery of business performance metrics: Turnover; Net Revenue, GP and EBIT; Monthly Reporting on brand and category performance. Net revenue tracking and management; Net operating profit and sector/ broader business projects and budgets; Proactive identification of opportunities designed to drive growth and efficiencies; Commercial Plan Development: Develop commercial plan category section (portfolio, channel, innovation - including industrial and P&L); Business Pillar identification and costing to enable collation and costs for integration into case.
      • Portfolio Strategy & Brand Strategy Development: Enables collation and costs for integration into case Portfolio map development and definition of strategic marketing plans to be used to manage/direct brand activity vs. competitors; Drive implementation of Commercial Plan; Communication & Media strategy Development ATL, Digital - 360 integrated plans; Set ambitions for brand plans; Review Income statements to identify opportunities and gaps with solutions developed. Tracking income statements and using metrics to manage operations.
      • Innovation: Develop innovation agenda by Re-launch, cost management and new breakthrough projects; Overview Innovation funnel for category/brands (incl. size of prize) & manage; Track Brand team management & delivery of projects; Work with Commercial /Sales/ Manufacturing/R&D and other teams to prioritise, commercialise and deliver projects. Collaborate with NRM to recommend pricing strategy and price pack architecture
      • Brand Management: Agency & Creative Management - Oversee vendors and agencies and creative process & Up skill junior team in this area; (Scope of work development; fees; creative evaluation and feedback); Media plan development and assessment; Research understanding, evaluation and plan development. Work with Insights team.
      • Trade Marketing & Supply Operations: EBP/ S&OP- Ownership of Input to step 1 (PMR) for EBP process; contribute to DR and utilise SR output to manage demand and supply. Manage risk stock, and contribute to production prioritisation for Managed Demand and stock build for seasons; Contribute to Category Reviews and strategic category insights for Customer reviews. Channel planning and account planning (mix by account and market development insights) for listings and category management.
      • Operational Excellence: Roll out of Brand and Commercial plans to manage/direct brand growth activity vs. competitors; Set tools or develop frameworks for tracking and Brand management and category reviews; Responsible for A&M budgets. Operational Management through facilitation Distribution project scoping and management; Deal development and combo deal creating with finance for trade and sales promotions; Develop and contribute to sales volume forecasts and financial forecasts; Shopper and activation strategy and planning (includes Trade story, shopper proposition & Customer reviews). Performance management - Nielsen/Kantar/ tracking and Qliksense understanding of performance against key KPIs on brand health, penetration, distribution, volume etc , executing a plan of actions to accelerate performance.

      Qualifications

      What will qualify you for the role

      • 3 year tertiary qualification in the business related field.
      • 8 – 10 years experience, preferably in an FMCG environment.
      • Strong people management skills
      • Commercial understanding and ownership: Income statement to GP and bottom line + Budget management and reconciliation.
      • Financial acumen for reporting and tracking financial, share performance and forecasting.
      • Multi-disciplinary team and project leadership.
      • Full value chain understanding and management. Regulatory/compliance on products and consumers (CGSA, DOH etc). Consumer behaviour and Shopper behaviour understanding. Research and analytics understanding and tracking; Customer and trade understanding, shopper and category growth strategies and customer/sales interactions.
      • Excellent communication skills (written, spoken & presentation)
      • Efficient and effective cross-functional partnering with R&D, Manufacturing, Procurement and Sales Planning teams is critical to role success.
      • Requirement for the individual to be future focused, demonstrated through active identification of innovation/ market growth opportunities.
      • Strong commercial acumen coupled with ability to analyse data, produce insights, generate reports and present at EXCO level.
      • Ability to engage, report to and influence Internal and External stakeholders.
      • Ability to work independently and self manage.
      • Willingness and ability to travel
