      The Role:

      The Marketing Operations Specialist is responsible for managing all data and reporting requirements for Fenergo Marketing teams. This role will be critical to the planning and delivery of optimised marketing campaigns that have a tangible and real impact on pipeline development and our revenue generation.

      The Marketing Operations Specialist will be responsible for harnessing the power of sales and marketing automation systems (Salesforce, Marketo, Demandbase) to generate reports and insights that encourages our teams to analyse performance and optimise future campaigns. This person will be expected to gather insights, present these insights and host regular post-campaign analysis workshops to identify what works / what doesn’t and how we can influence future campaigns.


      Key areas of responsibility:

      MarTech & Lead Lifecycle:

      • Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads.
      • Possess a deep knowledge of marketing automation and work to improve and demonstrate marketing’s contribution to sales pipeline and revenue.
      • Possess deep knowledge of Salesforce and the marketing funnel and make amends to the lead lifecycle as required.

      Data Management & Hygiene:

      • Own the marketing data and will ensure continued efforts towards maintaining the currency and accuracy of this data to support segmented marketing campaigns and lead nurture tracks.
      • Manage, understand, segment and enhance the data used for marketing campaigns and analysis.
      • Create and manage large, complex data sets and ensure highest standards of data quality is maintained.
      • Ensure all data conforms to best practice hierarchy management.
      • Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data privacy regulations.

      Marketing / Sales / BDR Empowerment:

      • Provide business analytic and reporting insights to help drive marketing and lead generation initiatives critical to ongoing growth e.g. create marketing and sales dashboards / reports / funnels.

      Supplier Management:

      • Establish and maintain a robust supplier onboarding and management process.
      • Work with Risk Team on ensuring all critical suppliers have been risk assessed and all documentation (NDAs, contracts) are centrally stored.

      Monthly / Quarterly Reporting:

      • Develop robust KPIs and scorecards for marketing performance monitoring.
      • Analyse current marketing initiatives and produce and maintain metrics reports on marketing activities, effectiveness and business impact.
      • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities and effectiveness and business impact.

      Campaign Scheduling, Reporting & Optimisation:

      • Monitor, measure and analyse campaigns to optimise performance based on industry best practices.
      • Provide recommendations that enhance future campaign performance and measurements.

      Cross-Team Collaboration:

      • Train, mentor and support marketing teams in understanding the information and processes put in place.
      • Maintain adaptability and implement changes quickly and efficiently.
      • Work closely and collaboratively with the Digital, Product Marketing, Communications & Content Team, and Field Marketers, as well as Sales and BDR.

      Career Experience & Qualifications:

      • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar Marketing operations role.
      • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.

      Technical Skills:

      • Analytical with an eye for detail.
      • Good level of technical expertise (systems experience).
      • Strong knowledge of salesforce.com and marketing automation (Marketo preferred).
      • Demonstrated problem solving skills with experience providing practical business insights from large, complex data sets.
      • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills essential.
      • Experience in data visualisation and building scalable reporting tools (desirable).

      Soft Skills:

      • Ability to work independently, manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment.
      • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to present detailed content to teams.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Ability to work as part of a team and to direct others.
      • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
