      Marketing Planning Manager

      We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Planning Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract to be a part of our Marketing Planning and Performance team. At Aviva, our Centre of Excellence for Marketing (CoE) Planning and Performance, needs a strategic Marketing Planning Manager who will work with internal stakeholders and external agencies to translate customer-centric value propositions, and commercial business targets into brilliant effective campaigns. This role could be suitable for you, if you enjoy defining the optimal marketing approach to address business and communication targets, can use various insight sources to shape audience and campaign strategies, plus you are able to manage projects simultaneously.

      A bit about the job:

      Our new Marketing Centre of Excellent (CoE) has been formed with the aim of building best in class capabilities across key marketing disciplines, from planning through to rapidly evolving digital marketing channels. It changes the emphasis of what we do from product to customer and capability, with the ambition of delivering on our One Aviva strategy. The Marketing CoE sits alongside similar Data and Digital CoEs, supporting our Go To Market (GTM) teams as they translate business objectives into actionable customer centric campaigns, communications and experiences. The Marketing CoE is made up of 5 specialist teams - Marketing Planning and Performance; CRM, Content and Creative; Digital Marketing and Media and Customer Insight and Research; the team will lead on all marketing communications activity.

      As the Marketing Planning Manager, you will be responsible for helping the GTM teams to contextualise their market opportunities; translate their high-level marketing plans into specific campaign briefs; lead the combined CoE team to define optimal campaign plans by channel and then manage the delivery through to post-campaign analysis, ensuring that learnings are fed into future plans.

      Skills and experience we’re looking for:

      • Ability to analyse the consumer and market data to define strategic marketing opportunities

      • Create customer-centric marketing plans with clear objectives, KPIs, target audiences, messaging and channel requirements

      • Comfortable with managing a multi-faceted marketing plan across multiple channels - Rounded media experience is essential with media planning experience a plus

      • Experience with campaign process management, including tracking project milestones

      • Category experience isn’t essential, but planning experience is, along with a positive mind-set and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders

      • Salary up to £60,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
