- Continuously monitoring and understanding the buying habits of shoppers, emerging trends in personalized marketing, and the impact of competition in the marketplace.
- Assisting in the development of marketing plans to build shopper engagement, combat competition and capitalize on opportunities to gain loyalty and grow market share.
- Coordinate the set-up of Marketing programs from strategy through execution, including expense and sales projections, adherence to established timelines, and communication of assigned programs to relevant internal stakeholders.
- Leveraging customer segmentation models to establish targeted marketing plans aimed at strengthening customer relationships through reduced churn and upward migration.
- Partnering with internal digital, insights, and analytics teams and external partners on the targeting, execution, and measurement of targeted marketing efforts, with the objective of enhancing ROI.
- Review and provide feedback on creative elements related to assigned marketing programs and clubs.
- Leveraging a full range of insight-generating tools to foster a deeper understanding of consumers and the broader marketplace to ensure that marketing/business strategies and decisions are grounded in relevant consumer insights.
- Assisting with forecasting and expense tracking for their assigned programs as part of each Operating company's multi-million-dollar budgets in this area.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of branding and key marketing principles; familiarity with Customer Relationship Management theory and practice, including the concepts of customer and market segmentation.
- Proven experience utilizing qualitative, quantitative, and secondary data to develop marketing plans.
- Knowledge of and experience in using Customer Data Platforms (CRM/CDP).Creative thinking and problem-solving skills including capabilities to assess current situation, proactively anticipate business questions, draw conclusions, and envision future business opportunities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written/visual).
- Excels and thrives in a fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking and managing multiple projects with tight deadlines and shifting priorities; high attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Market Research (Master's degree preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in marketing with working knowledge of business analytics and data mining
Salary: $62,684.00- $97,159.00
SUMMARY
The Marketing Specialist, Loyalty is responsible for leveraging each Operating company's loyalty card database and program tools in support of driving incremental sales and long-term loyalty. Along with the Manager of Loyalty Marketing, they develop and implement marketing strategies and programs targeted toward specific customers, audiences, or segments. Collectively driving consumer-centric focus through customer advocacy.
