      The Marketing Specialist ensures the delivery of a variety of products and initiatives related to the marketing and growth of GVHC. The Marketing Specialist will support marketing efforts of the organization including assistance with events and promotional items.

      This position will work at our Modesto Scenic Administrative Office. Schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

      Compensation:

      $24.02 - $25.22 an hour

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities

      • Ensure timely delivery of projects such as newsletter (digital or print), lay out of all text and photos for internal newsletter, with input and approval from the Chief Communications Officer.
      • Design other marketing materials or presentations as needed
      • Assist in writing internal and external messaging for the organization including advertisements, blogs, and social media.
      • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the marketing department
      • Track, report and analyze day-to-day execution of marketing strategies.
      • Offer ongoing support of strategic and creative plans, reports, and endeavors that move the marketing department forward and helps meet key goals.
      • Under the leadership of the Chief Communications Officer act as a good steward of the brand to ensure brand consistency and tone across channels.
      • Assist in designing, updating, and maintaining collateral materials used in organization marketing efforts. This includes proofing, revising, and some copywriting of collateral, e-mails, and web content.
      • Regularly update website content, including copy, images, and multimedia elements, to reflect the latest information and services available.
      • Regularly update and organize content on the GVHC intranet platform, including organizational announcements, policies, and procedures.
      • Stay up-to-date on industry news, best practices, events and emerging technologies to develop an understanding of competitors and trends.
      • Assist the Marketing team in developing and executing effective and integrated communication plans, including strategies and tactics across all channels, and leveraging all communication opportunities.
      • Actively participate in event coordination including timelines and logistics.
      • Assist with community events, including grand openings, open houses, etc.
      • Actively participate in project meetings. Proactively and openly articulate ideas and concerns, while balancing the department objectives.
      • Assist the Marketing team in evaluating the impact of different communication channels and messaging strategies to ensure effectiveness.
      • Ensure market positioning and approved key messages are adhered to.
      • Create new publications as needed, moving products through production from start to finish.
      • Supervise and maintain social media outreach. Deliver content via LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram.
      • Design and support marketing campaigns aligned with organization goals.
      • Facilitate paid social media advertising to target specific audiences/regions, promote new services/programs/campaigns with keywords.
      • Provide support in execution (both external and internal) of Public Relations and/or Communications efforts for the organization.
      • Coordinate and attend meetings with vendors, media outlets, and other community members.
      • Maintain a strong online presence using company voice and goals.
      • Review and optimize online channels (website, social media, etc.) for better visibility and engagement. Implement SEO strategies to improve online discoverability. Implement keyword research and development, and mobile-friendly capabilities.
      • Handle confidential information and matters of discretion in a professional manner, in support of management decisions with a positive attitude.
      • Attend company-approved community events and represent the organization in a professional manner
      • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to ensure the efficient operation of digital advertising devices in patient lobbies.
      • Assist in developing engaging and informative content for Mvix digital displays, considering patient demographics and preferences.
      • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

      Physical Demands

      • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally and push up to 100 pounds (on wheels) on rare occasions.
      • Must be able to hear client/staff on the phone and those who are served in-person, and speak clearly in order to communicate information to clients and staff.
      • Must have vision with or without lenses that is adequate to read memos, a computer screen, personnel forms and clinical and administrative documents.
      • Must have high manual dexterity.
      • Must be able to reach above the shoulder level to work, must be able to bend, squat and sit, stand, stoop, crouching, reaching, kneeling, twisting/turning, fingering and feeling.

      Work Environment

      Education/Experience Requirements

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Knowledge of social media utilization; Microsoft Office Proficient (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint); Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator) and WordPress or similar CMS.
      • Strong internet and social media navigation skills.
      • Demonstrated organizational skills.
      • Excellent customer service and communication skills; written, verbal and technical skills.
      • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks; effectively interact with both internal and external contacts; plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor projects.
      • Multi-task and prioritize tasks and projects.
      • Valid California driver’s license, proof of insurance, reliable transportation and acceptable driving record required.

      Education/Experience

      • High school Diploma or equivalent.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field preferred.
      • Minimum of one (1) year of digital marketing or social media management experience.
      • Minimum of one (1) year of graphic design experience.
      • Administrative or clerical support experience; marketing, customer service or IT experience preferred.
