Western New Jersey Markets - Fairfield/Parsippany/SpartaOmni Ophthalmic Management Consultants (OOMC) is an ophthalmic management services organization specializing in providing support to subspecialty surgical and medical eye care practices. Headquartered in Iselin, NJ. OOMC provides business services and support to wholly owned affiliated ophthalmology practices throughout the Western New Jersey Markets. The OOMC affiliates are optometric referral practices providing a full range of specialty services for the advanced treatment of eye diseases. The affiliate brands, by design, offer no primary care optometric services, but promote a partnership between optometry and ophthalmology to deliver exceptional vision care. While our footprint continues to expand rapidly through additional acquisitions, today our affiliates provide eye care services through a network of fifteen offices and two ophthalmology-focused ambulatory surgery centers, located throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. With over 60 Board-certified ophthalmologists and residency-trained optometrists, supported by a staff of 275+ registered nurses, ophthalmic technicians, surgical technicians, and patient services representatives, OOMC supports over 200,000 patient encounters annually.

JOB SUMMARY
OOMC is looking for a highly motivated and energetic Regional Relationship Director (RRD) to lead our development efforts in the Midtown Manhattan and Brooklyn New York markets. The RRD will establish and support relationships with Optometrists in a defined geographic area providing education on OOMC’s value and benefits. This professional must be a strategic and critical thinker with a proven record of success in exceeding business objectives.
REGIONAL RELATIONSHIP DIRECTOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead initiatives to build volume and favorable provider perceptions among optometric referral network.
• Provide education to physicians, schedulers, practice managers, and medical staff to ensure understanding of services offered, practice enhancements and new advances, as well as to close business, ensuring that obstacles are identified and minimized.
• Work collaboratively with the Center Directors, Managers, MD’s, and others to gather feedback and execute communication strategies to persuade optometric provider referral sources to send patients to Omni Eye Services.
• Develop and implement specific outreach, relationship building and marketing plans to meet goals, in collaboration with Marketing.
• Establish and maintain ongoing communications with referring providers and their staff, including routine or follow up visits, emails and phone calls.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, sales, or marketing or other applicable fields or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree a plus, but not required
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in healthcare sales or marketing field
• Prior experience in the optometry and/or ophthalmology industries a plus
• Demonstrated experience and success developing strategies and solutions to drive referrals.
• Ability to prepare and execute informative and impactful presentations
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Must possess a high level of integrity, passion and energy, and proven ability to thrive
• Ability to navigate automated systems and CRMs like Salesforce, and proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.The salary range for this position will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and skill level, with final compensation determined based on qualifications and relevant expertise.
