JOB TITLE: Digital Content Specialist
LOCATION: Ada, MI (Onsite)
DURATION: July – December 2025, with potential extension
PAY RANGE: $30 - $31/hr
TOP 3 SKILLS:
• 5+ years of experience in digital marketing and hands-on SEO in global or multi-market settings.
• Proficiency with SEO tools like Heap, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Lumar (or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience creating or reviewing metadata, headers, and on-page copy for SEO.
Summary:
In response to evolving digital marketing priorities and the growing importance of AI in search, we are expanding the role of our current SEO lead and seeking a Digital Marketing Contractor to provide support for core SEO responsibilities. This role will help ensure continuity in execution and performance monitoring while allowing the team to focus on broader strategic initiatives. The contractor will support global SEO operations and partner with market teams to enhance visibility, discoverability, and performance across digital properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational SEO Execution
• Conduct keyword research to support market-level needs and content planning.
• Perform technical SEO audits using tools like Ahrefs and Google Search Console.
• Support content optimization efforts, including metadata, on-page structure, and internal linking.
• Compile and deliver monthly SEO performance reports using platforms such as Ahrefs, Heap, and GSC.
• Troubleshoot SEO issues reported by markets and provide actionable solutions.
• Leverage AI tools and approaches to generate recommendations for content optimization, keyword discovery, link-building, and landing page refinement.
• Integrate AI-enabled tools to automate repetitive SEO tasks and improve execution speed and scalability.
SEO Training and Enablement:
• Assist in delivering SEO onboarding sessions and office hours for market teams.
• Help maintain and update SEO playbooks, best practices, and documentation on SharePoint.
• Create or revise modular self-serve resources to enable independent market optimization.
• Support the creation and management of a centralized SharePoint hub for training.
Performance Monitoring and Insights:
• Support organic search sentiment analysis and reputation tracking.
• Monitor and extract insights from dashboards (Heap, Ahrefs) to identify trends and risks.
• Assist in evaluating SEO impact for major product launches and post-launch performance reviews.
• Apply AI-powered tools to surface deeper insights from large-scale performance data.
Collaboration and Coordination:
• Work cross-functionally with content, analytics, and technical teams to integrate SEO best practices.
• Participate in global team meetings or planning sessions to ensure SEO considerations are included.
• Escalate technical SEO issues or strategic risks to the Global SEO Lead.
Tool and Vendor Support:
• Assist with user access management, licensing coordination, and onboarding for SEO tools.
• Support evaluations of SEO tool usage and effectiveness.
• Coordinate with vendors to troubleshoot issues or implement platform improvements.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in digital marketing and hands-on SEO in global or multi-market settings.
• Proficiency with SEO tools like Heap, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Lumar (or equivalent).
• Strong analytical skills; able to turn performance data into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with an understanding of search-optimized content.
• Demonstrated experience creating or reviewing metadata, headers, and on-page copy for SEO.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms and technical SEO concepts (indexing, crawling, Core Web Vitals).
• Strong understanding of how AI can be applied to SEO (e.g., prompt engineering, content summarization, automated content audits, keyword clustering).
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across content, marketing, and tech.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate or annual salary only, unless otherwise stated.
