FUEL MARKING SUPERVISORSIntroduction:
Provide a professional, effective and efficient supervision of fuel marking operations at petroleum terminals, ensuring processes and data are accurate and safe. Must maintain operational excellence to ensure that all involved stakeholders within the Petroleum industry receive the best service.
Specific Responsibilities and Duties:
• Scheduling, coordination, and supervision of all marking operations.
• Ensuring that marking of petroleum products is done as per the SOP and sampling on trucks/Vessels/Bulk tanks for QC checks at depots and terminals.
• Compiling of field data and reconciliation of marker balances on daily basis and to ensure that all quantities of marker amounts are accounted for with the acceptable discrepancy level.
• Ensuring markers are maintained in a secured storage area under lock and key and access control system.
• Monitoring the stocks and establish a re-order level of all markers.
• Ensuring daily volumes marked, number of trucks marked, marker used, discrepancy levels and hazard observations / near misses are all captured in the daily scorecard for review by Operations Manager.
• Ensuring details of trucks, wagons, shore tanks and vessels marked are captured in Fuel Marking Manager software accurately daily.
• Ensuring all trucks that are entering the Terminal / Depot are tagged to clearly show marked and unmarked trucks.
• Conducting random Quality Control Checks of marked trucks, shore tanks and vessels to ensure marking is done as per the SOP.
• General office management duties.
• Processing Clients monthly reports for invoicing purposes.
• Ensuring accurate data entry into the Fuel Marking Data Management system and maintaining proper filing records for all requisite data for future reference.
• Training of marking staff on all aspects of the programme including HSE and maintaining records.
• Building good customer relation on behalf of company at your respective sites.
• Ensuring compliance with internal business and QA systems.
Personal qualities & abilities:
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the job function consistent with SOPs, SICPA , terminal safety guidelines, meeting quantitative and qualitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular punctual attendance.
• Physical fitness that enable tankers, bulk tank and vessel marking.
• Ability to offer leadership
• Ability to foster teamwork
PROFILE:
• Technical degree and technical competence in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of training, and/or experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience leading and managing teams in an industry set-up
• Fluent in English.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Experience with Microsoft office tools (Excel / Word).
• Ability to work in teams.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Customer oriented attitude.
• Ability to analyze data and report it in a presentable manner
