      Base pay range

      $170,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

      The Food & Beverage Director is responsible for ensuring attentive, friendly, courteous, and efficient service across all F&B Outlets (Restaurant, Room Service, Lounge, Market, and Banquets) while maintaining adherence to budgeted payroll and overhead costs. They are also tasked with continually improving sales revenues in these outlets to meet or exceed budgets. The Director of Food and Beverage manages and organizes the department's activities to ensure high-quality food production while fostering team development and a positive work environment. Additionally, the role focuses on enhancing guest and employee satisfaction. The incumbent may also serve as a Chef when required. Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as necessary to fulfill their responsibilities, including overtime where applicable.

      Qualifications

      • At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, a 2-year college degree, and 3+ years of related experience, or a 4-year college degree with 1-2 years of related experience, or a Culinary Degree with 1-2 years of progressive hotel or related experience.
      • Applicable certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.
      • Proficiency in Windows OS, approved spreadsheets, and word processing.
      • Extensive experience in restaurant bar, banquet, catering, in-room dining, and kitchen management.
      • Strong communication skills, ability to evaluate options quickly, and work well under pressure.
      • Ability to analyze financial data and manage payroll and production control effectively.
      • Knowledge of hotel organization and industry trends.
      • Ability to forecast, budget, manage labor, and purchase efficiently.
      • Maintain professional relationships and open communication with staff and other departments.

      Responsibilities

      • Organize, direct, supervise, and assist in food and beverage service across all outlets, ensuring high standards and appealing presentation.
      • Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in all work areas, minimizing waste and controlling costs.
      • Plan meals and service, guiding the culinary team on various assignments.
      • Oversee kitchen staff, outlets, banquet displays, and overall operations of kitchen, service, beverage, and banquet departments.
      • Manage access to sensitive areas and information, including hotel safes, keys, and secured storage.
      • Handle cash, prepare deposits, and secure financial assets.
      • Interact with guests and colleagues professionally, maintaining trust and responsibility.
