      LOCATION: Maryvale Preparatory Academy

      FLSA STATUS: Exempt

      Position Summary

      The position objective is to fulfill the school’s obligation to students by administering and facilitating the mission and philosophy of the institution. The Director of Campus Operations is responsible for the overall administration and supervision of the logistical operations of the school campus on a day-to-day basis.

      Duties & Responsibilities

      Administrative Leadership

      · Support the Archway and Prep Headmasters in daily campus operations and logistics, meeting with them consistently and enacting on the needs of the full campus.

      · Meet with the Leadership Team periodically to discuss schoolwide operations and logistics needs.

      · Meet weekly with Facility Manager to coordinate schedules/operations, review workflow, and share Headmaster needs and updates.

      · Create and maintain schoolwide calendars, including annual family & faculty calendars, events calendar, e.g. emergency drills, performances, etc., and common space schedules, e.g. for Marley Center, gymnasium, and conferences rooms.

      · Scheduling and communicate all day-to-day activity and events to all necessary stakeholders in a timely manner.

      · Ensure parent facing communications are provided to Office Managers as they relate to logistics and operations.

      · Ensure family handbooks, newsletters, and websites have the correct and most updated logistics, operations, and safety information.

      · Engage in onboarding as it relates to logistics (e.g. issuing keys, technology, Raptor and CURB logins)

      · Maintain an asset log (e.g. keys, technology)

      · Maintain clean website data (e.g. Brivo, CURB, Raptor, PowerSchool)

      · Maintain full campus key schedule

      · Create, update, and maintain campus maps (e.g. interior, safety, security, carline, special events, etc.)

      Campus-Wide Logistics

      · Manage student drop off, pick up, and traffic flow logistics for day-to-day operations (e.g. daily start and end of day campus walks to ensure gate closures, traffic barriers in place, etc.)

      · Prepare setup and parking logistics for special events and communicate to necessary stakeholders.

      · Coordinate all morning, midday, CURB sub coverages for pick up based on daily absence list. Throughout the day monitor daily absence thread and assign sub roles immediately.

      · Support all key and technology needs and requests, including laptops, radios, Brivo reports, etc.

      · Ensure campus wide systems and applications are up and running (e.g. Raptor, school bells, etc.)

      · Schedule and program bells

      · Review furniture inventory and make recommendations to Headmasters in preparation for budgeting and ordering.

      · Coordinate and oversee all Archway & Prep field trips, including training faculty leaders and coordinating scheduling, transportation, meals, and invoicing with the Office Managers

      · Inspect, maintain, and replace campus carline equipment.

      Liaison and Oversight Support

      · Serve as Athenaeum Liaison, communicating with the Athenaeum Director regarding items such as program alignment, room use, and campus logistics.

      · Serve as IT Liaison in collaboration with Headmasters and Assessment Coordinators (e.g. budgeting support for tech needs, computer and cart counts, Veeya communications, related trainings, etc.)

      · Serve as Veeya liaison to coordinate campus visits, Wi-Fi, and campus technology bandwidth issues and needs.

      · Serve as PSO Liaison by attending all meetings, noting, and communicating event logistics needs to facilities, communicating event details to Office Managers, assisting with scheduling, setup, etc.

      · Collaborate with CASAS Bonitas and OM as it pertains to cleaning needs, scheduling, movement of furniture and summer projects.

      · Coordinate transportation arrivals/entries with Athletic Director

      · Serve as liaison to Great Hearts for campus use requests (e.g. NFO, HM meetings, tours, etc.)

      · Collaborate with the Campus Safety Coordinator

      · In conjunction with Campus Safety Coordinator and Great Hearts, provide oversight of Campus Security Officer

      o Assist Campus Safety Coordinator in training faculty and staff on campus wide logistics (e.g. Raptor, campus evacuations, lockdown drills, and emergency protocols

      · In conjunction with Headmasters, provide campus oversight of Facilities tech.

      · In conjunction with Headmasters, support Health Office school logistics needs (e.g. scheduling hearing and vision screening, budgeting needs, etc.)

      · Maintain campus warranty and relationship maintenance with the following companies: alarms (Liberty), cameras (Leverage), landscaping (caretakers) and Chasse Construction (Prep building)

      · Serve as liaison to Phoenix PD/Community and City of Glendale Traffic

      · Serve as liaison and establish relationships with neighboring businesses.

      Education, Competencies & Strengths

      • Degree or equivalent experience (minimum 3 years) in business administration, customer service, management, marketing, or human resources preferred.
      • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and customer service skills are crucial for success.
      • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders.
      • Achievement-oriented and diligent work ethic
      • Demonstrated professionalism; exhibits responsibility and ownership of tasks and projects.
      • Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, are necessary for this role.

      Additional Requirements

      Type of clearance: fingerprint clearance and background check.

      Physical functions: Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. May be required to move or position equipment up to 50 pounds approximately.
