- Material Master data creation or changes based on Business requirements (ticketing system)
- Support Master data projects for both Schenck Process Australia and other Sandvik entities
- Develop, manage and maintain high quality master data to enable operational efficiency in Sandvik Team centre, SAP MDG, Schenck Process Australia SAP ERP and other Sandvik ERPs
- Manage requirements including auditing, reviewing, cleansing and creating master data.
- Assist with Development and implementation of a master data roadmap to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Work with internal stakeholders across the globe to ensure the maintenance and continuous improvement of master data as per master data governance guidelines and policy.
- Provide mentoring, coaching and advice to all data stakeholders to drive awareness, engagement and uplift in support of a data-driven culture.
- Build business partnerships and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Carry out periodic quality checks to ensure master data quality as per internal quality processes and data definition guidance.
- Produce reports and/or metrics for data elements of assigned projects as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in all necessary systems, processes and procedures in delivery of master data projects.
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of techniques and best practices on master data management
- We’re looking for someone with a 2-6 of experience in a similar role and industry and we believe that you have a university degree in a relevant field or have gained equivalent knowledge from work experience.
- Significant experience working with Material master data management preferably utilising SAP and/or similar ERP systems.
- Good knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and a sound understanding of Master data configuration
- Extensive experience with Material Master cleansing, standardization and enrichment projects
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel), Database and Business intelligence reporting software.
- Experience with Equipment hierarchy, Bills of Materials and drawings / tech specs.
- A high competence and passion to use data to drive projects and reporting with demonstrated initiative to identify further master data improvement opportunities.
- Manage Master Data requirements and utilise SAP knowledge to ensure data health.
- Extensive experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders to influence organisational outcomes.
- You will appreciate the need for quality data and have exceptional attention to detail.
