Job Description:
The position is part of the "planning & scheduling" department. Master production scheduling (MPS), contemplates the mid and long term planning (18 month long) of Getafe Plant MCAs and CAs. Mains Constituent Assembly parts (MCA) and Constituent Assembly parts (AC) to schedule are: A320 HTP, A330 HTP. A350 HTP and A350 S19
The MPS job is based on two principal aspects: MPS process and tool update. The MPS process activity has the focus on animate the routine to validate finite capacity planning (Strong link to HO production). Tool update is focused on planning IT tools (APC Jaguar and SAP). Assembly production line planning knowledge is needed to design, calculate and implement different scenarios to be presented to validation.
Assessment and validation of programme update (cascading for assembly) is part of the Job. F ollowing simulation through MPS routines management, s cenario study for MCA & Elementary Parts if there are programme updates. Monthly cycle of the MPS is key in this position, enabling efficient decision making on resources, level of buffers, priorities, etc.
Can be highlighted somes of the main tasks:
-Evaluate the programs and production requirements, including recovery plans.- Define associated production scenarios based on plant calendar and all resources availability.- Propose the best solution to meet the programs/plants requirements using the production scenario achieved.- Prepare and participate or lead the Master Production meetings involving all thestakeholders.
- Build, update and analyze KPIs measuring production plan execution and deliveries, define the improvement plan and associated actions.- Officialize production scenario and communicate the plan to all stakeholders- Make the planning respected (accountable).- Maintain planning parameters in the planning & scheduling tools. - Update SAP.Taking into account the variety of stakeholders and the decision making process that involves the Master production scheduler job. Soft skills are required on the position. Time management, networking, teamwork, creative thinking and conflict resolution are also part of master production schedule daily basics.We are looking for young talents that are enthusiastic about their work and passionate about the issues that the aerospace industry is facing. The candidates should feature the following competences:
• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or a related discipline.
• Negotiation level communication skills in English and Spanish is required.
• Rigorous, autonomous, customer-oriented mind-set and ability to prioritise workload.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication, multi-functional team-working, flexibility, proactive behavior.
