      PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

      Pack Planning and Modeling

      • Oversee Prepack planning and gain consensus from the sales team and demand planning.
      • Enhance, Improve and Streamline

      o Product scheduling and sequencing to optimize capacity and productivity.

      • Develop, Train, and Implement
        • Manage Brite, set-asides, and grades to optimize production processes and inventory utilization.
        • Develop and implement effective pack planning strategies and modeling techniques.
        • Evaluate pack plan to ensure production meets labeling capacity – evaluate annually.
        • Be a resource (and backup) for plant schedulers, creating and maintaining production schedules, labeling schedules, and capacity leveling to ensure timely product delivery.

      Scheduling and Data Management

      • Monitor item classes and manage Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) to align supply with capacity and demand.
      • Standardize PSS, item numbers, paste phantoms, case input specifications, and formula phantoms.
      • Conduct daily controls for CIC, DDR, and IIM file maintenance.
      • Monitor new items from a master planner perspective and maintain system data/MRP.
      • Maintain the Shop Floor Calendar and Capacity Tables
      • Enhance, Improve and Streamline

      o Oversee Material Requirements Planning (MRP) for visibility of material demand within our planning systems

      • Develop, Train, and Implement

      o Collaborate with the Demand Planning team and provide feedback on accuracy opportunities

      Scheduling Guidance and Coordination

      • Manage item class changes by SKU
      • Enhance, Improve and Streamline
        • Enhance shop floor control order creation and reporting processes.
        • Direct Brite usage based on finished goods ship-by requirements.
        • Ensure compliance with shop order controls and manage MRP uploads.
        • Identify early demand and operations performance signals to address necessary changes to the schedule and/or inventory targets.
        • Work with the transition team to ensure that the impact of item status changes is fully considered from an operations and scheduling perspective.
      • Develop, Train, and Implement
        • Implement KPIs and metrics for Schedule/Shop Order Attainment and Reliability/Repeatability Studies.
        • Set engineering standards for minimum run sizes and production/labeling frequency intervals.
        • Implement min-max algorithms for product style size (PSS) and coordinate schedules across facilities to accommodate urgent changes or re-prioritizations.
        • Partner with quality assurance to align the production schedule with the potential product disposition on hold.
        • Partner with operations to identify opportunities to enhance production efficiency via proper scheduling sequencing.
        • Provide scheduling guidance to plant schedulers and demand planners, ensuring effective production and labeling cycle coordination.
        • Promote scheduling process uniformity among facilities. Facilitating best practices and improvement sharing among all three facilities.

      Capacity Planning Review

      • Enhance, Improve, and Streamline
        • Conduct capacity planning reviews by facility to identify constraints and optimize resource use.
        • Perform monthly reviews of Brite production, labeling, sales, and inventories.
        • Adapt line sequencing based on short-, mid-, and long-term production planning.
        • Adapt models to scenario plan rates by lines, number of shifts
      • Develop, Train, and Implement
        • Coordinate Brite product and labeling moves in response to capacity constraints.
        • Plan for local and forward warehouse replenishment, considering lead times.

      Inventory Control and Monitoring

      • Oversee Brite monitoring and resource management, including grade reviews by PSS.(i.e. Grade trade-offs, Low Brite tactics, and long inventory farm in/out)
      • Manage pack planning and set-asides controls, realigning Brite and set-asides based on sales and budgets.
      • Enhance, Improve, and Streamline
        • Monitor inventory turnover rates and adjust replenishment strategies accordingly.
        • Optimize inventory turns through effective inventory control and monitoring processes.
        • Implement daily controls for Firm Planned Orders/Shop Orders (FPO/SO) to prevent material duplication.
        • Brite usage and direction by finished goods ship-by requirements
      • Develop, Train, and Implement
        • Develop strategies for inventory replenishment to ensure optimal stock levels.
        • Coordinate extended inventory cycles due to capacity constraints and peak seasonality.

      Modular Planning and Component Review

      • Enhance, Improve and Streamline

      o Maintain queries for component shortages and mods, ensuring adherence to 45-day lead time controls and policy maintenance.

      • Develop, Train, and Implement

      o Conduct modular building analysis and review to ensure proper rotation and shelf life of components and modules.

      Cross-Functional Collaboration

      • Lead problem-solving related to product cuts and customer service reason codes.
      • Enhance, Improve and Streamline
        • Foster strong relationships with sales, marketing, and production teams to ensure alignment on demand forecasts and production capabilities. Work with other departments to ensure proper information is provided for scheduling purposes (ie. The three data elements of a promo notice, 45 days lead time for mods, etc.)
      • Develop, Train, and Implement
        • Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.

      Continuous Improvement Initiatives

      • Develop, Train, and Implement
        • Lead projects to enhance scheduling processes, reduce lead times, and increase efficiency.
        • Implement best practices and industry standards in scheduling and inventory management.
        • Review all manual and excel style tools and seek process and tool modernization

      Risk Management

      • Develop, Train, and Implement
        • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
        • Monitor external factors (e.g., market trends, supplier performance) impacting scheduling and inventory levels.

      Training and Development

      • Enhance, Improve, and Streamline
        • Mentor and support the professional development team members in the scheduling and planning teams.
      • Develop, Train, and Implement
        • Develop training programs for team members on scheduling tools and best practices. (Queries, PowerBI, Viewer, etc.)

      Technology Integration

      • Develop, Train, and Implement
        • Stay updated on advancements in scheduling and inventory management technologies.
        • Evaluate and implement new scheduling and inventory management technologies.
        • Collaborate with IT to ensure integration of scheduling systems with other enterprise systems

      Performance Analysis and Reporting

      • Develop, Train, and Implement
        • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for scheduling and inventory management.
        • Use KPIs to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
        • Analyze scheduling performance metrics and prepare reports to inform decision-making.
        • Conduct root cause analysis on scheduling discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

      Customer Communication

      • Communicate with customer service regarding order status, delivery timelines, and any potential delays.
      • Address customer service inquiries related to scheduling and inventory availability.
      • Enhance, Improve, and Streamline

      o Establish scheduling process standards for rabbinical scheduling and notifications.

      EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

      • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
      • 5 years of experience in supply chain management or production scheduling.
      • Proficiency in MRP/DRP systems and scheduling software.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage cross-functional relationships.
      • Experience in multi-plant manufacturing and distribution networks.
      • Proven ability to lead project teams, particularly in system implementations.
