      The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Product Development Center (PDC) located in Wauwatosa, WI is home to the mantra – You dream it. We build it. Join our team as a Material Coordinator.

      Job Summary
      As part of our General Merchandise & Apparel Product Development team, this position will be responsible for assisting the Senior Materials Specialist to support product development global compliance within the area of materials – packaging, trims and fabrics.


      Job Responsibilities:
      • Assist the Senior Material Specialist in day-to-day responsibilities including obtaining Fabric, Material and Packaging information from third-party licensees and vendors
      • Assist the Senior Material Specialist with trim development and fabric color approval process
      • Data management including entering and maintaining data and Fabric Development Sheets and packaging into Flex Product Line Management system
      • Support the development of materials for Apparel Motor clothes business including collaborating internally with cross functional team members and communicating with external suppliers
      • Ensure accuracy and standardization of materials information
      • Generate reporting to support compliance reporting requirements
      • Support Flex data completion across Motor clothes where needed in material development
      • Assist product development team data and information management work where needed

      Education Requirements
      • High school diploma
      • Bachelor’s degree; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design or Merchandising is preferred


      Experience Requirements
      • Basic level of fabric knowledge
      • Multitasking & organizational skills
      • Desire to learn and grow
      • MS Office
      • Flex PLM
      Preferred
      • Basic understanding and/or experience with apparel development process

      The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
