Job Description
- Req#: 43151
- Loading and unloading of coal.
- Operating all equipment associated with the process including stacker reclaimer, rail car positioner, and rail car dumper.
- Qualifying to use and proficiently operating heavy equipment including coal dozers, front end loader, skid steer, backhoe, and forklifts.
- Performing preventative maintenance tasks on material handling equipment.
- Housekeeping in the material handling area and miscellaneous utility work at the facility.
- This position performs heavy lifting up to 50 lbs., working in a noisy and dusty environment, working outside, and in inclement weather.
- Incumbents may also be required to work rotating (12 hour) shifts which will include holidays and overtime and must be available for call-out work as needed.
- Must be in good physical condition to perform work duties safely.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

- The successful candidate must be mechanically oriented.
- Incumbents will also be required to occasionally wear a respirator and maintain annual respirator requalification.
- Applicants with experience in operating heavy equipment such as dozers and loaders are preferred.
