      Arcosa Marine Products, Inc. is searching for a skilled Material Handler for our Caruthersville, Missouri location. As a Material Handler you’ll be managing material/inventory between the warehouse and departments as well as preparing material for shipment.

      Arcosa’s Inland Barge Group is comprised of Arcosa Marine Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer of barges used to transport cargo on U.S. inland waterways. Arcosa Marine Products manufactures dry cargo barges, including flat-deck and hopper barges, that are used to transport a variety of products including grain, coal, and aggregates. Arcosa Marine Products also manufactures tank barges that carry petroleum, fertilizer, ethanol, chemicals, and other liquid cargoes. It is the largest U.S. manufacturer of fiberglass hopper barge covers used primarily on grain barges. Additionally, Arcosa Marine Products provides a full line of deck hardware to the marine industry, including hatches, castings, and winches for towboats and dock facilities.

      What You’ll Do:

      • Unload and transport incoming material using a forklift from shipping containers, flatbed trailers and van trailers
      • Verify quantity and condition of materials received
      • Pick material from inventory for distribution and arrange for delivery
      • Prepare and package material for outbound shipment
      • Complete and distribute shipping documents
      • Perform cycle counts by reconciling physical inventory
      • Maintain and complete all required records
      • Use power tools and shipping equipment for various tasks
      • Some heavy lifting or moving is required
      • Read and follow safety instructions
      • Mechanical knowledge is preferred

      What You’ll Need:

      • Position requires superior organizational skills
      • Must have prior experience or the ability to read shop drawings and blueprints
      • Must be able to operate a forklift to unload and transfer material
      • Ability to function as a team member and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
      • Perform other duties as assigned
