- Req#: 32812138877
- Locate and transfer parts shortages within the plant that may be required for completion of assemblies.
- Verifies and maintains associated stock records, logs shortage reports, and other documentation.
- May use computer applications and computers to maintain accurate material flow transactions.
- Unloads, receives, verifies and counts material delivered to the stockroom.
- Kits production work orders for release to the production floor.
- Packs and ships material back to company vendors for repair or replacement.
- Performs cycle counting of all the material in the stockroom.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 years previous experience in a warehouse environment.
- Basic English skills - ability to read and understand written instructions and effectively communicate verbally.
- Previous experience with industrial vehicles such as cranes, forklifts, order picker, scissor lifts, and fall protection equipment.
- Warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Powered Industrial Vehicle certification (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
- Frequently walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; talk and hear.
- Occasionally lift and move no more than 40 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

Position Overview:
As a Material Handler I, at our McClellan Park location, you will support a broad range of activities in a dynamic, highly-engaged warehouse environment providing all material to production departments for manufacturing the best rail vehicles in the world.
