Job Description
- Req#: MATER007286
- Receive, verify, and put away incoming label-related items.
- Verify all documentation when receiving/unpacking materials and supplies. Report damages and discrepancies to management.
- Operate reach/tier lift truck, hand truck, forklift, etc. to move, convey, and hoist items safely; attend mandatory training on that equipment.
- Ensure all products are properly labeled with ID Technology item numbers, descriptions, units of measure, and quantity details.
- Manage all material staging and returns associated with production jobs, optimizing timeliness, accuracy, and profitability.
- Provide inventory management support: part numbers, balances, reports, physical inventory levels, and cycle counts under the direction of management.
- Unwrap pallets coming into production and re-package returns to inventory as appropriate Review all sales orders, run sheets, notes, and stage all orders according to the production/shipping schedule.
- Complete applicable documentation and transactions in the ERP system to maintain a sound, consistent, and error-proof location methodology within the warehouse.
- Assist other departments with warehouse-related requirements.
- Act as a backup for the Shipper/Receiver and rewind as necessary.
- High school diploma and/or experience relevant to the position.
- Valid forklift and reach/tier lift truck licenses preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail, safety, and organization.
- High regards for quality assurance.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer skills.
- Ability to schedule & balance priorities in a busy role while adhering to deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in material handling.
- Production floor environment
- Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, regularly, and move 70 plus pounds occasionally.
- Bending, twisting, and lifting, throughout the day
- Standing for long periods
