- Comply with all safety requirements resulting in zero safety violations. This includes participating in all safety related activities such as safety talks, behavioral based safety observations, audits, etc.
- Operate forklift or other machinery to transport raw materials and finished product to designated areas
- Raw material management including organizing, handling.
- Follows standard operating and LOTO procedures for all assigned tasks
- Ensure warehouse is organized for efficient and logical flow
- Review documents and record information; verify quantity, availability and condition of materials or products
- Perform routine QC checks by inspecting materials and finished products for damage and checking documents/labels to ensure accuracy
- Minimum 6 months previous experience in warehouse or forklift operation position
- Availability to work overtime or weekends on short notice as needed
- Must possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D. at time of application
- Must submit to pre-employment screening including: employment history verification, background check, physical and drug screening.
- Must be able to read and interpret documents, write routine correspondence, and speak the English language to effectively communicate with supervisors and other team members
- Basic mathematics and computer skills; SAP experience preferred
- Properly follow written and verbal operating and LOTO procedures
- Ability to work proactively and support other personnel and departments.
- Ability to multitask and work both independently as well as contribute to teamwork
- Maintain excellent attendance habits
- Stand on feet up to 12 hours
- Ability to perform without reasonable accommodation: walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, twisting, and lifting a minimum 55 lbs. or more
- Willing and able to comply with respiratory fit testing
- Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include: heat, cold, dust, strong odors, and loud noises with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Basic Function
The position of Material Handler is responsible for operation of material handling equipment for the purpose of safe and accurate shipping, processing and receiving materials and finished products. The incumbent is responsible for tasks such as, but not limited to unloading, scanning, moving, staging, loading, locating, picking, relocating, and stacking materials or finished products. The incumbent documents and records various information such as quantity, availability, and condition of materials or finished products.
