      Primary Purpose of Job:
      Operates hi-lo truck to transport new materials, finished products, and other material between plant, warehouse, and other designated locations. Loads and unloads in-coming and
      out-going shipments. Observes necessary safety precautions. Maintains maintenance on trucks and other operating equipment.

      Specific Duties:

      • Maintains the Prototype Shipping Schedule to ensure all commitments are made.
      • Maintains all rack sorting by part number and aligns all racks correctly and maintains FIFO of finished material
      • Maintains inventory of all service-packing supplies.
      • Maintains and controls all in-house skids.
      • Packs all prototype shipments.
      • Completes a daily-hi-lo check form.
      • Reads and writes bills of ladings.
      • Makes all local deliveries within the correct window time.
      • Cleans and maintains Service Parts packing area.
      • Moves and cleans shipping containers.
      • Assists with dock work (loading and unloading of trucks).
      • Sorts all returnable containers daily for consistency.
      • Keeps driving locations clear (including outside area).
      • Operates a hi-lo truck.
      • Helps maintain the cleanliness of the KAUTEX, LLC truck.
      • Responsible for adhering to and the use of all KAUTEX’s Quality Management System (QMS) Policies, Procedures and Documentation

      Required Training, Knowledge and Experience:

      • High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.)
      • One to three months related experience and/or training.
      • Successful completion of skills aptitude test.
      • Successful completion of driver’s performance test.
      • Must have a valid driver’s license.
      • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
      • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

      Critical Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

      • Occasionally lifts and caries up to 30 pounds.
      • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
      • Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts while performing the duties of this job.
      • Works in all weather conditions to support shipping and production requirements.
