  Job Description: Material Handler / Transport Operator
  Primary Responsibilities:
  • Transport materials, products, equipment, and waste throughout the facility.

  • Use proper and instructed driving techniques to maintain pallet load integrity.

  • Maintain accurate records of quantities and locations.

  • Scan and input control locations for pallets/materials to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.

  • Perform loading and unloading operations safely and efficiently.

  • Complete daily equipment status and condition reports; identify and report equipment issues.

  • Operate stretch wrap machines.

  • Conduct safety and operational checks on all equipment used.

  • Repair pallets as needed.

  • Empty cullet and dirt hoppers; open and close cullet chutes.

  • Clean basement areas and rake hoppers.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
  Qualifications:
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

  • Frequent light physical exertion (lifting 11–20 pounds for 26–75% of the shift).

  • Occasional moderate physical exertion may be required.
