Job Description

- Issue and deliver supplies to correct customers
- Processes outgoing mail
- Receive, inspect and stock all supplies and equipment delivered to hospital
- Verify that all packing slips, bills of lading, receiving reports, etc are accurately completed and processed to ensure all invoices for payments represent goods and services received and rendered
- Issue, distribute and perform courier duties to various clinics, hospital and other areas in a timely manner
- Assist in stocking, rotation and care of in-stock items
- Drive the hospital vehicle to deliver and/or pick up supplies to off-site hospital locations
- Transportation of medications, labs, and biohazard materials
- Exhibits a professional image in dress, appearance and manner
- Communicate in a professional manner with MRHC staff, visitors, and customers

Job Summary:This position receives merchandise for MRHC using MRHC policy and procedures and delivers to all off-site locations. LIFTING, PUSHING, PULLING UP TO 85 LBS IS A JOB REQUIREMENT.
Department Specific Responsibilities:Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Two years of healthcare/medical experience preferred. Materials management inventory experience preferred.
Language/Communication Skills:
English required. Multilingual capabilities enhance the ability to perform this job. Must have the ability to speak effectively and professionally to all staff, management, and all outside individuals at all levels from elementary to professional.
Reasoning Ability:
Must have the ability to apply non-judgmental reasoning capabilities whenever necessary when dealing with patients, visitors, and staff. Critical thinking and multitasking skills are a must. Must have reasonable reflective thinking focused on deciding what to believe or do.
