- Process owner for T&D Service Center warehousing technical applications. Oversight of system health, training curriculum, and help-desk support. Identify and implement operational, tactical, and strategic plans for supply chain technology tools.
- Establish and maintain a regular schedule of T&D Storeroom Visits throughout Oncor service territory.
- Develop and Administrate Distribution Tool & Equipment Committee (DTEC) pages/sites on Share Point
- Administrate tool application and tool tracking software and program
- Manage tool catalog, tool tracking, tool ordering and tool repair process
- Serve in a supporting role for inventory material specialists during storm restoration events; primary responsibilities include documentation, reporting, and other tasks as assigned
- Serve as expert-level resource in Maximo and Velocity Warehouse Management System as part of storeroom supporting role.
- Develop and maintain a process for monitoring system T&D inventory levels and make adjustments as required to meet inventory value objectives
- Manage Maximo and Tool Application access control including an annual review of users’ access
- Manage and monitor SOX controls for storeroom inventories
- Develop and implement training material and programs for end users
- Provide training and technical support to system T&D storeroom employees via in-person storeroom visits and virtual training sessions
- Establish and maintain inventory ROP and EOQ targets for each storeroom based on activity
- Develop and publish inventory reports to support service center requirements
- Establish, revise, and cancel Maximo Item Master attributes
- Maintain knowledge of Oncor Program, Maintenance and Construction activity
- Maintain knowledge of various materials, manufacturers, product description and application
- Actively support and promote Oncor’s supplier diversity program
- Provide support and oversight to Service Center warehousing employees
- Participate in planning, forecasting, and analysis of Supply Chain material requirement
- Participate in the development of long-range strategies
- Develop and coordinate short term projections
- Lead Ad-hoc material requirement committees and peer group studies
- Develop, summarize, and communicate key findings to Supply Chain management
- Ensure compliance, accuracy, and alignment to Supply Chain management’s performance expectations
- Align with storerooms to ensure proper protocols are being followed regarding inventory policies (current inventory counts, proper accounting, etc.)
- Be able to develop and communicate key inventory metrics such as turn rates, inventory balances, obsolete items, and others
- Develop and execute cost saving initiatives
- Maintain professional and effective relationship with external and internal stakeholders
- Provide subject matter expertise, recommendations, and field support for Oncor construction activities
- Compose Ad-hoc SQL database queries and build/modify various business intelligence tools such as reports and dashboards to satisfy various internal and external stakeholder needs
- Utilize Python or equivalent programming language to assist with data analysis in cases where traditional database connections are not currently utilized
- Coordinate and execute yearly in-person storeroom personnel meetings
- Incorporate safety into daily work ethic

- Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Information System, Computer Science or Supply Chain/Logistics is preferred
- Experience – 2-5 Years in a Supply Chain or Analytics role preferred
- Data mining, querying & analytics experience in database environments – Oracle SQL preferred
- Experience with inventory management, material fulfillment preferred
- Experience with electric utility preferred
- Advanced knowledge in Access and Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas, VLOOKUP and pivot tables preferred
- Working knowledge of Smartsheet or equivalent tool preferred
- Ability to create new and automate existing applications utilizing MS Office applications, VBA and/or any other programming languages is preferred
- Experience with business intelligence/dashboard tools - Cognos, Tableau preferred
- Experience in task tracking tools such as Smartsheet or RSA Archer is preferred
- Strong knowledge of Maximo is preferred
- Strong Knowledge of Oracle and SQL preferred
- Functional Knowledge of Python or similar programming language preferred
- Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
- All relevant SOX controls are in place and in compliance

Salary Range: $94,284 - $125,712

The Material Management Analyst is a key role providing expertise in a broad range of responsibilities in the management of Oncor’s Capital Maintenance Assets, Tools, Transformers, Meters, Fuel, General Plant Assets, and Material and Supplies.
Responsible for developing and administering Supply Chain based training curriculum, providing technical support and oversight of T&D Service Center locations through virtual and in-person storeroom site visits and training sessions.
This position assures SOX controls are in place, followed and compliant, including oversight of the Annual Inactive, Excess, and Obsolete program. This position is also the owner of the tool pilot, catalog and repair processes, working closely with the Distribution Tool and Equipment Committee.
Responsible for developing various reports and metrics for the Inventory Management group utilizing various tools such as SQL, Excel and Smartsheet.
