Pay Range: $63,800 to $90,200 Salary Exempt

What You’ll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):
· Manage and oversee the materials group and receiving department and coordinate the team’s activities to accomplish the established production and safety goals.
· Oversee material requirements needed to support production and utilize the team to generate purchase orders in accordance with pricing, delivery and quality specifications as enumerated in national agreements.
· Track and manage supplier delivery and quality performance. Manage in-bound freight expense.
· Source and recommend suppliers to ensure that supplied orders are an appropriate combination of price, delivery and quality for non-contract purchase orders.
· Manage and inspect the team’s output to ensure quality and accuracy.
· Responsible for maintaining high employee morale and positive relationships, addressing and managing absenteeism and employee performance.
· Recommend changes or improvement in methods, equipment, handling or lay-out.
· Responsible for controlling scrap and waste.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What You’ll Need (Qualifications):
· Minimum one year experience in supervising others and maintaining efficient and productive work groups.
· 2+ years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a related position.
· Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
· Skills in developing, communicating and maintaining positive interpersonal relationships
· Demonstrated ability to solve problems in a practical, methodical way while preserving a sense of urgency.
· Solid computer skills, to include data entry, Excel, and Word
