      This role involves managing client assignments, networking, and business development activities.

      Responsibilities

      • Conduct failure analysis investigations
      • Plan and execute laboratory tests
      • Perform field inspections
      • Communicate with clients and provide counsel
      • Assist in preparing critique reports and technical reports
      • Build relationships with colleagues and clients
      • Prepare for hearings, trials, and mediations
      • Manage multiple engagements effectively

      Qualifications

      • PhD in Materials Science & Engineering, Metallurgy, Corrosion, Electrochemistry, or MS with 5+ years of consulting experience
      • Excellent communication skills
      • Knowledge of materials characterization techniques (SEM, EDS, XPS, Auger, SIMS, FTIR, X-ray)
      • Strong report writing skills
      • Ability to quickly adapt and develop creative solutions
      • Time management and team leadership skills
      • Analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Willingness to travel as needed
      • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
