- Conduct failure analysis investigations
- Plan and execute laboratory tests
- Perform field inspections
- Communicate with clients and provide counsel
- Assist in preparing critique reports and technical reports
- Develop relationships with colleagues, peers, and clients
- Prepare for and attend hearings, trials, and mediations
- Manage multiple engagements simultaneously
- PhD in Materials Science & Engineering, Metallurgy, Corrosion, Electrochemistry, or MS with 5+ years of engineering consulting experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of materials characterization techniques (SEM, EDS, XPS, Auger, SIMS, FTIR, X-ray)
- Strong report writing skills
- Ability to quickly assimilate information and develop creative solutions
- Time management and prioritization skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent listening, technical, and presentation skills
- Desire to lead and contribute to a growing practice
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
