      Your Day-to-Day:

      1. Applying knowledge of materials science to support the development of materials for nuclear applications, translating engineering requirements into test plans, development and execution of test plans and preparation of engineering testing, analyses, calculations, and reports.

      2. Working with laboratory personnel to perform hands-on materials testing and analyses (including sample preparation, corrosion testing, mechanical testing, microstructural analysis).

      3. Interfacing with laboratories, vendors, and other internal functional groups to support development of advanced materials.

      4. Planning and scheduling work to meet assignment requirements.

      5. Documenting results in reports and presentations.

      Work Location Preference

      Churchill, PA (minimum of 3 days on site at Churchill facility)

      Who You Are:

      As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

      * Pursuing a Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Materials Science/Engineering Required

      * Minimum GPA of 3.0 strongly preferred. * Completion of Junior year of college by May 2025

      * Ideal candidate should have some microscopy experience (sample preparation/LOM/SEM/TEM/FIB)
