      Job Summary

      Join our dynamic Materials Handling/Powder Handling team in a pivotal role where you'll bring innovative concepts to life, collaborate closely with clients, and manage budget costing for Powder & Materials Handling projects.

      What you will do

      As a key member of our team, you'll drive the mechanical engineering design for upcoming projects, crafting detailed automation and functional descriptions. You'll be hands-on with the design and drawing of P&IDs, fabrication, layout, pipework, and as-built drawings, ensuring every detail is meticulously planned and executed.

      In addition, you'll play a crucial role in the installation and commissioning phases, with opportunities to travel and see your projects come to life. If you're passionate about engineering and eager to make an impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

      We believe you have

      • Experience and knowledge in the design of powder food processes
      • Relevant experience in the dry food processing industry, preferably in the dairy, juice and soft drink segments
      • An understanding of the design and assembly of process equipment and machinery
      • Experience in writing functional specifications
      • Competence in sizing flow elements such as pumps, valves and pneumatic transport lines
      • Demonstrated awareness of cost management
      • Demonstrated technical skills, understanding in installation needs and customer operations at site
      • Demonstrated understanding of process technology
      • Excellent project management skills and the self drive to work autonomously
      • Experience in project implementation
      • Competent using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD 3D, and Inventor
      • Good knowledge of necessary standards, guidelines, tools and methods for process design
      2-3 years (Full time) as Engineer or similar depending on background education
      • Qualifications in Mechanical or Process Engineering

      Travel will be expected. This will be as required by the projects and could be for periods up to a month.
