Position Overview We are currently seeking a Materials Management Supervisor to join our team! The Materials Management Supervisor will oversee the materials responsibilities in the department while providing materials support for the production line. This position oversees 18 represented employees. Responsibilities • Oversees activities related to the purchase of material, material control, inventory control, shipping/receiving and stores functions • Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures and material control systems • Ensures materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels • Develops material schedules and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering • Reviews and plans requirements for purchasing materials • May prepare material requirement plans using enterprise resource planning systems • May assist with the establishment and maintenance of the production control system • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree At least 3 years of materials management or supply chain experience OR Master’s degree At least 1 year of materials management or supply chain experience OR At least 5 years of materials management or supply chain experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
