  CMM Operator
  Supervises the day-to-day activities of the plumbing team. Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance of production equipment during machine service. Performs preventative maintenance work designated by Facility Manager or as required. Creates scope of work for plumbing team alongside project management team.

  Pay Range: $21.00/hour - $28.95/hour

  Sets up machines in accordance with job prints and specifications to very close tolerances. Produces basic precision items beyond the capabilities of production machine operators. Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders. Measures, examines, and tests completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications; utilizes precision instruments including but not limited to micrometers, calipers, bore gauge, depth micrometer, and other inspection equipment as needed. Sets up, adjusts, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations. Aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines. Monitors the feed and speed of machines during the machining process. Studies sample parts, blueprints, drawings, and engineering information in order to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products and determine product dimensions and tolerances.

  Leads and provides support to efforts related to assembly of milling machines. Ensures alignment to production criteria and productivity expectations according to approved manufacturing procedures.
