  MBA Intern Product & Strategy

  Program Overview:
  Our Summer Intern program offers hardworking college students an opportunity to go beyond the classroom to develop leadership skills and gain relevant hands-on experience working as part of a global support team with professionals across the enterprise. Additionally, interns will participate in scheduled activities throughout the summer, including sessions with Senior Leaders, site tours, volunteer opportunities, and other social events. Fiserv summer interns are in session from June 3, 2024 – August 9, 2024 and work approximately 40 hours per week. You must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.
  

  About the Product & Strategy Commercialization MBA Internship

  We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about joining the Fintech industry in one or more of the following areas to participate in our summer MBA Internship Program. The individual project assignments may be in one of the following areas:

  • Product Strategy
  • New Offering Commercialization & Go-To-Market Strategy
  • Sales / Revenue Strategy
  • Marketing Strategy
  • Issuer Experience
  • Strategic Growth Products
  • Embedded Finance

  Ideal candidates will bring intellectual curiosity, a strong work ethic, leadership potential and the desire to become a contributing member to our robust team culture. This program will allow participants to obtain a deeper understanding of consumer payment and fintech trends and apply them to inform Fiserv’s product, business, and financial strategy. The conclusions and final outcomes of the body of work will be presented to executive (C-level) leadership.

  Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Support head of new business line in developing go to market strategies, including pivotal roles in positioning, pricing, and more
  • Participate in client discussions and be a key influencer in c
  • Conduct market analysis and provide market feedback to leadership team regarding ideas for new offerings and client needs based on synthetization of intakes through the delivery process
  • Create strategic business cases to identify and validate major initiatives (i.e., new products or partnerships), including benefits and impacts of initiatives across the organization and clients

  Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

  • Pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree
  • Experience or a high degree of interest in the financial services/ fintech space
  • Strong executive presence and business acumen - exceptional communication and presentation abilities to interact at all levels of the clients from C-level to technical and operation levels
  • An ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with a broad set of constituencies
  • Experience in data-driven management, metrics and reporting

  Majors:
  A wide range of college majors are considered based on specific needs of department such as: Computer Science/Network Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, MIS, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math), but willing to train the right candidate.
