About the Program:
The Martin V. Smith School of Business & Economics at CSU Channel Islands actively promotes the Mission of CSU Channel Islands (CI) by building and supporting a learning community of faculty and students who pursue excellence in all areas of business and economics education and scholarship. Faculty members in the Martin V. Smith School of Business & Economics follow a teacher/scholar model in accordance with AACSB standards.
About the Position:
The Martin V. Smith School of Business & Economics Master of Business Administration program seeks a pool of qualified applicants for possible temporary part-time graduate teaching assignments for graduate business courses in the Master of Business Administration program. These positions are filled on an as-needed basis and recruitment is ongoing. Assignments include evening and online courses and may include weekend courses.
Disciplines include Accounting, Communications, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, International Business, Law and Ethics, Leadership, Management, Marketing and Strategy.
Minimum Degree Requirements:
Minimum of a master's degree from a regionally accredited University in the area of business administration, finance, accounting, marketing, entrepreneurship, technology, or related field to business discipline of course topic, and active professional with industry experience.

Teach one or more classes as assigned and as student demand allows. Conduct and submit assessment activities as outlined each semester.

Placement into a range is based on qualifications and experience. Initial assignments are typically at the bottom third of the salary range.
