      Job Summary:

      The Management Consulting (MC) Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting both internal operational initiatives and client-facing projects. As a member of the operations team, the analyst contributes to the planning and execution of practice-level projects. As a resource to MC service lines, the analyst participates in engagements under the direction of project teams.

      Job Duties:

      Operations

      • Coordinates national team meetings including the all-hands meetings, senior executive team meetings, special projects and other events
      • Supports business development efforts by updating CRM and coordinating with senior leadership on practice reporting.
      • Coordinates and supports conflict checks, open project codes and process customer billing
      • Manages operational projects in coordination with practice leadership
      • Works with project teams on client engagements.
      • Helps to coordinate the MC internship program including interviewing and orienting new interns
      • Helps coordinate the new hire on-boarding process and provides communication, logistics and meeting coordination

      Engagements

      • Works with engagement team to understand the nature of the engagement and the work assignment
      • Produces assigned work products to the satisfaction of the engagement lead or project manager
      • Manages time to ensure that tasks and deliverables are completed on schedule

      Communication

      • Interacts professionally with partners, practice leaders and stakeholders
      • Creates high-quality correspondence and presentations on behalf of leadership
      • Advises the business line on scheduling considerations, and provides information required to make key operational decisions
      • Conducts training to staff on organizational processes including conflict checks, client acceptance and PeopleSoft code requests

      Business Development

      • Supports the proposal process and production throughout all phases
      • Collaborates with business line marketing and business development departments with coordinating activities
      • Other duties as required

      Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

      Education:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Business, required

      Experience:

      • Task management and strong organizational skills, required
      • Experience with project management, including developing and managing project timelines, prioritizing and assigning projects and tasks and assessing progress, preferred

      License/Certifications:

      • PMP – or another Project Management International certification, preferred

      Software:

      • Proficient in the use of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, required
      • Experience with Smartsheet, preferred

      Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

      • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment with a focus on detail and accuracy
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Ability to foster and maintain relationships with professionals at all levels within the organization
      • Ability to act as a strategic partner to regional and local business line, practice leadership and management teams
      • Strong project and time management skills
      • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all matters
      • Ability to work independently or within a team environment
      • Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently and within a group environment

      Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

      National Range: $70,000 - $90,000
      NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $70,000 - $90,000
