      Overview

MCKINNEY, TX (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) - A warm and welcoming family in McKinney, Texas in seeking a nurturing, reliable, and experienced FULL-TIME/PART-TIME NANNY to care for their 15-month-old son. The family is seeking a full-time nanny beginning in August or September to provide exceptional care during the workweek while both parents and grandparents work remotely from home.

This position will begin as full-time, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5/6:00 PM, for approximately one month or more during the summer. Following this initial period, the role will transition to a part-time schedule, likely from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM each weekday, as the child’s grandmother resumes more caregiving responsibilities. Occasional flexibility for evening or weekend support, including date nights, would be appreciated.

The nanny will be based in the family’s home and will focus exclusively on childcare duties, including preparing and feeding meals (including Little Spoon meals), maintaining the child’s daily routine, and engaging in age-appropriate developmental play. No driving is required for this role. The family has a mild-mannered older dog in the home, so comfort with pets is important. There is also a pool on the property, equipped with a safety gate, and the nanny should be attentive and safety-conscious.

The ideal candidate is warm, engaging, and attentive, with a strong understanding of early childhood development and a proactive approach to care. Standard vaccinations are preferred. The position is available to begin as soon as possible, and the family is offering a competitive hourly rate of $25–30+, depending on experience.
