      Location- Pune, India

      Senior Software Engineer

      Deutsche Bank is looking for an experienced application developer to work within a newly forming agile software development team as a Senior Software Engineer, developing new and maintaining existing No-Code/Low-Code cloud-based applications using Microsoft PowerApps, Google AppSheets and other GCP and Office 365 based tools. Setting up a Divisional Center of Excellence for Low Code / No Code Application development using modern technologies will offer a wide range of technical and organizational challenges. The ideal candidate will be flexible, possess broad skills across application design, development and operations. Candidate should be a self-starter, self-motivator, possess ingenuity to excel at this position and flourish in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

      Your key responsibilities

      • Design, develop and document software components in accordance with requirements specification, functional and technical design documents.
      • Provide development estimates.
      • Driver of quality indicators, promote the integration of non-functional testing (security, performance) into continuous integration cycle.
      • Agile working environment: Work as a senior member of a DevOps team delivering and supporting the full product life cycle. Together with the technical Product Owner and the Dev Team members, you will build the NC/LC Competence Center for Private Banking, serving a development and support needs of a wide variety of business units.
      • You will coordinate with the global platform owner, architecture, security and other central functions as well as with other agile IT teams to optimize delivery standards and to maximize re-use of solutions.
      • You will work in a global environment with diverse teams at different time zones.
      • Act as a contact person for service engineering related topics raised by (junior) service engineers (who’s coaching you actively help to shape) and other team members.
      • As a member of the Shared Applications team, you will work on applications serving a wide range of business units.

      Your skills and experience

      Preferred Skills and Experience

      • Knowledge in designing ETL solutions and Platforms.
      • Knowledge of Informatica Powercenter/Oracle/Linux/IICS/GCP
      • First leadership experience.
      • Agile experience
      • Previous experience using Teamcity for process/task automation and orchestration.
      • Bank-related knowledge
      • Maven Experience, Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket)

      Basic Qualifications

      • 10-15 years overall experience with Data integration platforms.
      • Experience in application development and application management
      • Experience in delivering Data Integration/Data Engineering projects with Informatica PowerCenter/IICS is highly desirable
      • Experience working in a cloud environment, preferably GCP/IICS
      • Knowledge working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle)
      • Understanding of Informatica L3 activities with knowledge on platform support is a plus.
      • Relevant experience / know how with application design and data modeling is preferable.
      • Experience with various interfaces like Mainframe/Oracle/scheduling tool is needed.
      • Proficient in decomposing problem statement into multiple methods/functions
      • Experience in automation of deployments, tests, creation of ETL pipelines
      • Understanding of architecture patterns, typical integration patterns, code conventions or other best practices
      • Fluent in English (written & spoken)
