What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee complex MDM application database activities and ensure data integrity and availability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop requirements and provide technical support as a DBA
- Proactively monitor MDM application database health and resolve any identified issues
- Develop transaction analysis reports detailing application transaction volumes and error types
- Assist in migrating the MDM database to cloud environments and ensure adherence to government standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- US Citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in database administration
- BA/BS in computer science, information systems, or a related field
- Proficiency in Oracle and SQL tools, as well as familiarity with DoD cybersecurity policies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with IBM Infosphere Master Data Management products
- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Oracle, AWS, or Azure
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Previous experience within the Department of Defense (DoD)
- Understanding of software development and scripting languages like JAVA and UNIX
