      Job summary

      LVR/Emphysema MDT Coordinator

      Thoracic Surgery

      MDT includes Respiratory Thoracic and Radiology Cases

      Days and hours can be flexible, however the MDT is held on the last Thursday of each Month 12;30pm to 13:30pm with the exception of B/H and A/L

      MDT Meeting is held via Teams

      Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.

      Main duties of the job

      The duties below are in summary- not exhaustive;

      • Monitor and action dedicated email inbox
      • Collate patients list for MDT and arrange meeting for last Thursday of every month/1stThursday depending on leave/BHs
      • Collate minutes and record outcomes for all patient cases
      • Action outcomes
      • Will also need to chase and collate diagnostic reports using system StratX report

      The candidate will work very closely with the Lead Consultant Thoracic Surgeon

      This role involves work for high-risk patient suspected of cancer with 20% of cases who reach MDT required for surgery/treatment. We receive cases across national organisations such as Harrogate, York and Pinderfields Hospitals.
