- Building computer servers to customer and technical specifications
- Following daily production schedule and work instructions
- Completing sub-assemblies
- Becoming proficient at all Build Stations
- Documenting daily actions in detail by completing production and quality forms
- Filling out required forms (paper/on-line) for hardware configuration, troubleshooting, defective equipment, and build status correctly and in detail
- Following operations manual, written instructions, and defined best practices and guidelines in quality assurance for wiring, cabling, and system configuration
- Carefully handling computer parts and chassis per ESD and safety guidelines
- Carefully transporting servers to and from stations per QA and safety guidelines
- Maintaining safe, neat and clean working environment by complying with 6S guidelines, procedures, rules, and regulations
- Conserving resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job
- Associate degree in computer technology or related field (preferred)
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- One year of experience working with computer hardware components
- CompTIA IT Fundamentals Certification (equal to 1 year of work experience)
- Experience with the following IPC standards preferred: IPC/WHMA-A-620,
- Certification as a CIS (or CIT) to IPC standard IPC-A-610 or the ability to successfully obtain certification within 6 months of hire (required).
