  Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

  Job Summary:

  The Machinist will be required to work in all phases of R&D. Machining experience on programmable Mills & Lathes is required. Pneumatic and fork truck skills are also needed. Must be able to work from detailed blueprints and work independently from inception to completion. Be willing to assist in sample taking and testing of machines.

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  · Ability to work proficiently on programmable lathes

  · Ability to work proficiently on programmable mills

  · Proficient in machine assembly

  · Ability to run fork truck

  · Repair and lubricate machine and equipment

  · Ability to construct foundations for machines

  · Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings

  
  Qualifications:

  Education	High school diploma or GED required
  Business Experience	Min. of 1 yrs experience mechanical
  Licenses/Certifications	Fork truck license needed.
  Language Skills	English
  Technical Qualifications & Skills	Experience reading and interpreting drawings, diagrams, and other written and verbal instructions.

  · Ability to perform machine repairs

  · Ability to align machines and equipment

  · Ability to assemble machines, bolts, rivets or otherwise fastens them to foundations or other structures

  · Ability to dismantle machines

  · Ability to install equipment such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails
