- Responsible for calibrating a variety of test instruments for one or more skill areas, such as:
- Dimensional Equipment \n
- Industrial / MechanicalEquipment \n
- Temperature Equipment \n
- Perform standards maintenance & checking of company standards if assigned by Lab Manager \n
- Collect calibration data and record information on data sheets. Complete calibration certifications, including out of tolerance conditions. \n
- Continue to be trained in all aspects of Micro Precision Calibration Services and share gained knowledge and other best practices with other team members \n
- Observe safety precautions and quality standards in the performance of tasks and compliy with the company \n
- Clearly communicate calibration issues and procedures with customers and coworkers on the phone, in person and through email \n
- Valid Driver's License \n
- Basic Knowledge of Mechanical and Dimensional equipment preferred \n
- Experience in basic instrumentation and manual tools preferred \n
- Basic mathematics understanding \n
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills \n
- Experience in MS Word and Excel \n
- Ability to work both independently and under the supervision of Senior Technicians \n
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance \n
- Work performed in the local laboratory and at customer facilities \n
- Up to 25% out of town, overnight travel \n
