      Position Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

      Role Impact:
      Join a market leader in custom automation and machinery design as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. This high-impact role leads end-to-end mechanical development of precision-engineered systems, driving efficiency and innovation across industries. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional experts to bring complex machines from concept to installation, ensuring performance, reliability, and customer success.

      Key Duties:

      • Design and develop custom machines and automated systems per client specs
      • Generate 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and assembly documentation
      • Integrate mechanical designs with electrical/control systems in collaboration with engineers
      • Lead prototype builds, validation, and commissioning at customer facilities
      • Troubleshoot and refine systems for manufacturability, safety, and operational excellence

      Essential Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
      • 5+ years in custom mechanical design or automation system engineering
      • Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor)
      • Experience with DFM/DFA and manufacturing methods (machining, welding, sheet metal)
      • Knowledge of mechanical systems integration with automation and robotics

      Equipment & Work Environment:

      SolidWorks. AutoCAD. Autodesk Inventor. Custom automation platforms. Robotic arms. CNC-machined parts. Pneumatic systems. Sheet metal assemblies. PLC-integrated machinery. In-house and onsite prototyping.

      Preferred Skills:

      • Familiarity with PLCs, robotics, and motion control systems
      • Knowledge of ISO, ANSI, NFPA, and OSHA safety standards
      • Experience mentoring engineers and managing technical projects
