  Our client, a leader in the Aerospace field, is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a 12 month contract in Mississauga.

  Our client is looking for a Mechanical engineering professional who has skills in Design and testing to support their peaks in engineering. This person would act as a support engineer to other engineering functions within the mechanical department (mostly in design and testing). Below are some job duties they will be asked to perform:

  Design & Drafting:

  - Modeling in Siemens NX to create CAD models

  - Drafting. taking models and creating a part drawing

  - Identifies risks, proposes solutions and develops mitigation strategies.

  - Investigate problems/failures during development and test

  Testing:

  - Generate analysis reports and create mechanical test plans and reports.

  - Write a test plans

  - Understand what instrumentation equipment you would use to execute the test and analyze the data

  - Support testing (on the floor support) - during this phase, might need to be comfortable with shift work

  - Writing test report - taking data and telling us what they found

  Mechanical Engineering:

  - Identify parts they need to use in assembly (off the shelf)

  - Hand calculations

  MUST HAVE: Mechanical Design, preferably using Siemens NX

  MUST HAVE: GD&T

  MUST HAVE: Mechanical Testing

  MUST HAVE: Mechanical hand calculations

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.

  Workplace Type

  This is a hybrid position in Mississauga,ON.
