- Mechanical design and development of electronics products for the automotive industry;
- Mechanical design (plastic/metal/sheet metal). 3D CAD Design (in CATIA V5); 2D Drawings; Stack-up analysis; Feasibility studies.
- Mechanical support of the products and productions - release, changes, etc.;
- Building and/or updating CAD models and drawings of the parts and products;
- Project management and process compliance activities.
- Bachelor's / Master’s degree in the field of mechanical engineering or related;
- 3D models design – parts and assemblies (CAD Tool – CATIA V5);
- 2D drawings preparation (CAD Tool – CATIA V5);
- Tolerance stack-up;
- GD&T ( Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing);
- Feasibility studies;
- DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis);
- DFAM (Desing for assembly and manufacturing);
- Mechanical project management activities;
- Customer and suppliers communication;
- Fluent in verbal and written English;
- Advanced knowledge in: - Electronics products - Plastic parts design - Die casting and decoration technologies.

The mission of this role: Mechanical design and development of parts and electronic products for the automotive industry.
Key Objectives of this Role: Deliver precise, high-quality mechanical designs that enhance the functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal of cockpit electronic components while ensuring compliance with automotive standards. Focus on cost and efficiency to support project timelines and budgets, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Drive innovation and lead continuous improvement efforts to address design challenges, maintaining a competitive edge in cockpit electronics solutions.
Key Performance Indicators: On time, On cost, On quality
Key Year One Deliverables: Key focus on achieving 95% accuracy in CAD designs for electronic components with zero critical design flaws and ensuring 100% on-time delivery of design milestones. Actively participate in cross-functional meetings to enhance collaboration with PD, HW, and Manufacturing teams, while also contributing innovative design improvements. Additionally, they will complete all required regulatory and internal compliance training within six months and demonstrate adherence to industry standards through regular audits and peer reviews.
