Job Description
- Req#: R135068
- Be working under general supervision on the development of original designs or adaptations.
- Originates designs having distinctive design features.
- Performing non-routine and complex items with distinctive design features that can differ significantly from established practices.
- With assistance, can utilize current manufacturing/business systems for basic cost, inventory and purchasing information.
- Handles special projects, as assigned.
- Assist supervisor with technical training and professional development of others within the group.
- Must also be capable of “hands on” work in a test lab facility.
- Have experience and knowledge on engineering and drafting standards including codes and regulations affecting design assignment.
- Knowledge of 3D drafting techniques and CAD, preferably Inventor.
- Have professional communication skills necessary for interaction with internal and external customers at a professional level also in English.
- Have Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Mechatronics) or work experience demonstrating advanced design and engineering skills.
- Have some years of experience in drafting in related product lines with a proven record of design success.
